About ReadyBloomReaders
After years of working as a reading interventionist and teaching struggling readers in grades K–3, I saw that many parents wanted to help their children at home but didn’t know where to begin. I created ReadyBloomReaders to give families affordable, research-based resources that follow a logical phonics sequence while remaining simple and easy for parents to use with confidence.
I’m a Certified Reading Specialist with more than 30 years in education, including over 20 years helping struggling readers build strong reading foundations and coaching teachers in effective reading instruction. Every workbook is built on classroom-tested, research-based instructional practices and the same effective teaching methods I successfully used with my own students.

Early literacy has always been my passion. There is nothing more rewarding than watching a child go from frustration and self-doubt to reading with confidence. I’ve seen firsthand how explicit, systematic phonics instruction can change a child’s future, and I believe every child deserves that opportunity.
The Building Strong Readers series was designed to teach one skill at a time, allowing children to develop confidence through steady, meaningful progress. Whether you’re a parent, homeschool family, teacher, or tutor, these resources are designed to support you as you help a child learn to read.
I also believe parents should never feel like they’re doing it alone. That’s why I regularly share free reading tips, activities, and practical ideas through ReadyBloomReaders. One of the most rewarding parts of my work is connecting with families. If you have questions about your child’s reading development or aren’t sure which workbook is the best place to start, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m always happy to point you in the right direction because I believe every child deserves the opportunity to become a confident reader.
Thank you for visiting ReadyBloomReaders and for caring enough to invest in a child’s future. I hope these resources encourage, support, and equip you as you help your young reader build the strong foundation needed for lifelong success.
